Description

Casein Kinase II Inhibitor III, TBCA is a cell-permeable serine/ threonine kinase that is a tetrabrominated cinnamic acid compound. Casein Kinase II Inhibitor III, TBCA acts as an ATP-competitive and potent inhibitor of Casein Kinase II (IC50 = 110 nM, Ki = 77 nM) with greater selectivity than DMAT and TBB against a panel of 28 commonly studied kinases. Studies show that it induces apoptosis in Jurkat cells (DC50 = 7.7 μM) more efficiently than DMAT.
