Description

Cetirizine Dihydrochloride is a carboxylated metabolite of hydroxyzine that acts as a racemic selective Histamine H1 receptor inverse agonist. Compared to its parent compound, it shows similar antihistaminic activity, but with greater H1 selectivity and less sedative effects.
