Description

A synthetic cyclic RGD peptide that induces the formation of multicellular tumour spheroids (MTS), which serve as 3D in vitro models that mimic the in vivo tumour environment. Cyclo-RGDfK(TPP) induces self-assembly in certain tumour cell lines via interaction with alpha-5 beta-1 integrins. Moreover, the peptide also initiates the formation of 3D spheroids in several cell lines of both normal and stem cells.
