Description

(1,5-Cyclooctadiene)bis(methyldiphenylphosphine)iridium(I) hexafluorophosphate is a cationic Iridium (I) complex employed as a catalyst. (1,5-Cyclooctadiene)bis(methyldiphenylphosphine)iridium(I) hexafluorophosphate has been employed for the isomzerization of allyl ethers of glycerol and glucose to the corresponding 1-propenyl ethers, and this protocol has seen use in other carbohydrate chemistry applications.
