Description

E-4031 dihydrochloride is a K+ channel blocker. Lead compound to investigate class III antiarrhythmic drugs. E-4031 dihydrochloride is a specific blocker of delayed rectifier current (I(kr)). Blocks the human ether-a-go-go-related gene (HERG) at all pulse frequencies (frequency-independent block) without significant recovery at rest.
