Description

Heat Shock Protein Inhibitor I is a benzylidene lactam compound that blocks the induction of heat shock proteins. Heat Shock Protein Inhibitor I inhibits HSP 70, HSP 72, and HSP 105. Heat Shock Protein Inhibitor I blocks the development of thermotolerance in a dose-dependent manner. Heat Shock Protein Inhibitor I does not affect the thermosensitivity of nontolerant cells. Heat Shock Protein Inhibitor I does not have an affect on the activities of PKA, PKC, or PTK.
