Description

HexylHIBO is a group I mGluR antagonist. Group I mGluR include types mGluR-1 and mGluR-5. In vitro, this compound decreases sEPSCs in rat pyramidal neurons. Group I (mGluR-1 and mGluR-5) receptors are coupled to Gq/11 and are activators of phospholipase C.
