Description

Madecassic acid has been investigated for stimulating collagen synthesis. Madecassic acid acts as a downregulator of NF-kappaB activation in RAW 264.7 macrophage cells which inhibits iNOS, COX-2, TNF-alpha, IL-1beta, and IL-6 and results in a reduction in inflammation.
