Description
(R,S)-1-(2-Nitrophenyl)ethanol is a racemic preparation of 1-(2-Nitrophenyl)ethanol. This compound is a nitrated benzylic alcohol which presents a useful substitution pattern for synthesis and has been reported in the design of photolabile precursors of glutamate.
