Description

NOC-5 acts as a nitric oxide (NO) donor. It creates a stable NO-amine complex that can spontaneously release two equivalents of NO in solution under physiological conditions without any cofactor. The half-life (t½) of NOC-5 in PBS, pH 7.4, at 22°C is 93 minutes. NOC-5 is relatively stable in alkaline solution where the pH ≥10.0.
