Description

Podophyllotoxin is a potent inhibitor of microtubule assembly that binds at the colchicine site of tubulin. It is an antineoplastic glucoside and antitumor agent. Also, podophyllotoxin is a Topo II (DNA topoisomerase II) and tubulin inhibitor.
