Description

Prostaglandin F2α Alcohol is an analog of PGF2α where the C-1 carboxyl group has been reduced to a primary alcohol. Studies studies have shown that Prostaglandin F2α Alcohol is a weak agonist. Additionally, it has been reported to retain ocular hypotensive properties, but the nature of the mediating receptors is unclear.
