Description

PTA2 (Pinane thromboxane A2) is a chemically stable, carbocyclic analog of the highly unstable thromboxane A2. PTA2 has been shown to act as a TXA2R antagonist which leads to coronary artery contraction and platelet aggregation induced by prostaglandin endoperoxide analogs and arachidonic acid. This product has also been shown to inhibit TXA Synthase (thromboxane synthase) and protects ischemic myocardium.
