Description

Zaragozic acid A trisodium salt is a potent inhibitor of mammalian, fungal and Saccharomyces cervisiae squalene synthase. As a squalene synthase inhibitor, zaragozic acid has been shown to produce lower plasma cholesterol levels in primates. Offered is also offer the free acid form, Zaragozic Acid A, to avoid stability problems associated with hydrolysis of the salt.
