Description

COX-2 Inhibitor II is a cell-permeable isoxazolyl-benzenesulfonamide compound that acts as a potent and highly selective inhibitor of Cox-2. COX-2 Inhibitor II has been used extensively to study the role of Cox-2 in wound healing process. COX-2 Inhibitor II weakly inhibits Cox-1 (IC50 = 4 nM for Cox-2 versus IC50 = 114 μM for Cox-1).
